Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

Oh sod it, i've given in. I've just pre-ordered FM2006.

I really want to manage a country because i've never done that before, so instead of doing it on FM2005 I might aswell wait a few more days for FM2006.

I'll also manage a club at the same time because if I were to just manage a country it would be quite boring.

(Spurs)

I signed Ronaldo for £8M for a bit of backup to Cavenaghi. Beat Chelsea in the Champs league 1st knockout stage on aggregate 5-3. Second in the league at the mo behind Arsenal, just. Currently March.

Van Persie is awesome.

This is really frustrating me now, last season it was betis who couldn't be beaten and won the title, this season it's athletico madrid. There 4 points clear already, i keep closing the gap and the losing to teams like villareal. Champions league going well though, won all six matches in my group stage but for the second year in a row i draw ac milan in the first knockout stage.

I've sold Ronaldo despite him playing well because his value was dropping and I've got pleanty of cover, so I thought I'd cash-in now.

I got Kallstram and £12.75m for him from Milan.

Chelsea and their money-spinning Chairman, have appointed a virtually unknown Scottish Manager, David Wood...

...just give me the money.

So, just started a season with Chelsea as there is no way they will sack Jose and hire the manager of Aberdeen lol.

Anyhow, heres what I've done so far, building a team for the future btw. Plz rate or provide suggestions.

GK: Cech/Rensing

DL: Del Horno/Bridge
DC: Terry/Kompany
DC: Carvalho/Woods/Diamond
DR: Gallas/Vanden Borre

DMC: Makelele/Pizzaro/Guarin*

ML: Robben/J. Cole
MC: Lampard/Arouca*
MR: Wright-Phillips/Duff

SC: Martins/C. Cole/Adu~
SC: Crespo/Drogba

* Awaiting Work Permit
+ waiting for contract to be accepted
~ future transfer/all terms agreed

Sold Thierry henry to man utd for £25 million, and puyol to milan for £28 million also released ronaldo, and he signed with betis. The board also raised my funds to £35 million so i bought in some new players.

Got van nistlerooy now up front with cavenaghi, who has finally come good after a disappointing first season, David pizzaro off of newcastle, and some defender off real madrid, a right-back, and some others as well, kamphius (sp?). new season started, drew celtic in my group stage of the champions league, beat them 4-0 and 6-1 in the two matches. 7 games gone in the league, 7 victories, including a 3-0 over real madrid and a 7-1 over osusana with 10-men. Van nistlerooy has got a 10 rating every match and like ronaldo, will get you a ton of goals.
