Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

Not true. If you actually work at it properly and have a balanced and good overal rating it does have an effect. Especially when you are playing online against others. Your players start to lose ratings, whilst theres gain. More important than you would think.

High media handling means you need to answer every question, etc., etc.

(Although you need the media attention in the first place)

Also it's generally good to be positive in anything you say.

Release your positive views on your players too.

Whats the best way to improve your media handling rating? Been playing for a while and most of my managerial attributes are quite high apart from media handling.


Also anyone got any really good training schedules for their first team, reserves and goalkeepers?

The new FM patch increases the lifetime of the game. Generally, the overall player stats (average) is about 170 at the start, but regens are generally worse, so by 2010 (5 years on), it's around 160, and so on, meaning the game just has a lot of useless players.

But the new patch tries to fix that...

Im on the same as that but with 2ghz. I have the 4 top leagues in England running then 2 leagues in Spain and Italy.

The fact the game is suppose to deteriorate after 7-12 games seems stupid. Whats the point then of building a good youth team in the u-18s ect and then not be able to have a chance to use them? I have a superb team now and just coming good.

meh, it was easy to clock up seasons on 01/02 cos it was so quick! i got to 2080 with a combination of cardiff and sheffield wednesday.

I got to 2027 with PSV Eindhoven on CM 01/02. :P

My stevenage game got really slow after about 10 seasons. I reckon that was more to do with the fact i had the prem, seria A and Liga all running. It took ages saving the game as well.

I decided to only run the english leagues for my palace game and its still running smooth, fast and saving quickly. into 2010 at the moment.
