Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

15?

The game is supposed to deteriorate at around 7-12.

It'll be slow, because you've got so many re-gens. (And unless they're going to turn out exactly the same as the way their predecessor did, then that frazzles your comp)

The scouts and other stuff won't be happening because of the deterioration.

Your game file shouldn't have exceeded 30Mb and that's nothing...

Im getting lots of crashes when i play the game now. Its fully patched, but seems to run really slowly. Thinking perhaps my save game file has got too big for the space left on my HD or something. Also little things like the scouts not working are starting to appear.

Shame really, was into my 15th season with the Owls and succeeding in global domination.

Take on the Argie league, Meka. Best league outside Europe by a long, long way.

The MLS is a weird league to play in. All the players seem to chase the ball, unlike in Premier League games. Usually have dozens of shots, but few on target. I'm managing DC United, as they have Adu, and ended second in the league (of 5 over 30 games between two conferences...) so now I'm in the semi finals.

Very odd. I might look out for a job in Brazil if I do well.

From another forum

Well a lot of people have wanted a feature where they can load a different game whilst in one without the need to restart. Here's how it's done:

In C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2005\data\skins

Go to the skin you are using at the moment and create a folder called menus

Then open notepad and put

CODE

Save the file as game.xml in the menus folder.

You should now be able to load a different game whilst in one.

Credit to SmithJurd for implenting this feature in his skins.

Though I've no idea why your game keeps crashing. Odd.

I've downloaded all patches by the by, it still keeps crashing
