Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

Re-installed this after the start of the Premiership got me back interested however after looking on the net most of the sites i got my downloads off have either shut down or become pay sites. Managed to get me some decent skins, Premiership super face pack and a bunch of kits.

However does anyone know where i can get the download that changes the tactic screens dots into Subbuteo players? Had it last time i played and it was great

Yes, train them. I find the default training for attackers, midfielders, defenders and goalkeepers works well enough, though I may consider having a go at changing some soon to specifically tailor to full backs, playmakers, etc.

I can't buy Adu :-(

Even in my Chelsea game, he just won't come. Wants to develop his game further at his current club. He's still 16, though, so early days. £62M though... that's insane - do his stats match up? Most expensive player in my game is Adriano at £43.5M and his stats are unbelievable.

In terms of young players, he's difficult to get, but Rooney is so influencial for me. He's perhaps a little underrated technically, but 20 in both creativity and flair makes him an outstanding support striker. Stewart Downing also becomes incredible.

And also, as I will always reiterate, Pander, Kaebi, Sturridge - all brilliant.

Freddy adu is worth £62 million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
managed milan, real madrid, chelsea, milan, leeds, alaves, newcastle, southampton, england, colombia, holland, russia, greece, sweden, portugal and now just brazil.

if anyone has just started a new game i know the best young players to buy:

freddy adu
wouter vandermieren
evandro roncatto (you might struggle for a work permit)
Hatem ben arfa
Francesc fabregas
marten stekelenburgen
joaquin
dagoberto
jhon jairo mosquera

Dont buy ronaldinho he is rubbish after 2 seasons

Stirling are in Europe, despite stil being in the Scottish 1st (and in the relegation zone) I only bloody won the Scottish Cup, didn't I?

Had some great results along the way too, often drawn away, raking in huge sums of cash, then winning at home. Won in the final 3-2, after being 2-1 down.

I don't think I'll ever get them up into the premier league though, so it may soon be time to move on.

Oh there are many other things to consider.

Hard Drive space?
RAM?

etc.

Still, don't worry about it.

If you are in League 2 and have 21 million to spend

why do players turn you down when you are giving them a better salary then what they were getting
