Are we living in a safer world where terrorists are cowed and beaten, too scared of US retribution to commit atrocities? Or is Dubya's "We're going to war so my friends can have more money and profits!" approach to this whole affair making the world a lot more dangerous?

In 1982, US president Ronald Reagan approved a CIA plan to sabotage the Soviet Union's economy through covert transfers of technology that contained hidden malfunctions, including software that later triggered a huge explosion in a gas pipeline, according to a former White House official.

"In order to disrupt the Soviet gas supply, its hard currency earnings from the West, and the internal Russian economy, the pipeline software that was to run the pumps, turbines,

and valves was programmed to go haywire, after a decent interval, to reset pump speeds and valve settings to produce pressures far beyond those acceptable to pipeline joints and welds," Reed writes.

"The result was the most monumental non-nuclear explosion and fire ever seen from space." US satellites picked up the explosion.

"While there were no physical casualties from the pipeline explosion, there was significant damage to the Soviet economy."

I love the way the USA and it's leaders always play the 'righteous christians doing God's work' card with all their religious rhetoric, then fly in the face of teachings that don't suit them... ("Love thy neighbour / enemy", "Turn the other cheek", etc.)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a religious person at all, I just find it amazing how so many Americans fail to see the irony...

No No no you got me wrong. Been reading about freamasons. This Jewish guy wrote this book called the Keys of Enoch. He was supposidly told these teachings from an Entity who called himself Enoch. From the bible. While in a trance. He is a prominent member of the Freamasons in America. Those were some of the teachings in the book. If this book is what the Freamasons believe then its know wonder there is a war on terror.

I did not say All Muslims were to blame.
