Anyone else watching it? We're looking fairly good, Rooney's strike was pretty decent even despite the deflection. What Jamie Carragher was doing for their goal though I don't know.

Anyway, we look fairly strong, and a good confidence booster for Rooney no doubt.

I can, England are inconsistant as we have witnessed in the past week a Jekll and Hyde performance.

They also need to sure up at the back, France's strikeforce is a tiny bit more formidable than both Iceland and Japan put together.

5-1 now, Iceland's defence looks a shambles.

I wouldn't say so, on their day France can be easily as good as us. Just depends if we get a similar amount of lucky goals as we have against Iceland.

If we play like this in EURO 2004, we should get that win against France, I don't see why we can't.

England looking a lot more balanced using the 4-4-2 formation, the likes of Scholes and Lampard are having a decent game, the defence however let in a pretty soft goal.
