Most of you probably don't know that I and others who I invited complained to Off Com about the then, forthcoming program by Derren Brown, when he conducted a live seance.

I purposely didn't urge anyone not to watch the program, as I thought this would only increase the chance people would watch it.

Anyway, good to see that we managed over 700 complaints in the end.

I just hope, nothing like this ever takes place on our screens again.

What would he know about what I believe? Anyway, Christianity teaches not to judge others.

Heh. At the risk of being a nerd...if the UK population is 60 million then that means less than 0.0012% complained. Awesome.

First of all, once again you have ignored the complaints I (and others) have made about your disgusting abuse of commas - there is no need for a comma in that last sentence. Why don't you know how to use them properly? You're 14, for goodness sake, surely you should know?

Secondly, why did you do this? I ask because the last answer you gave was moronic, and you've ignored everyone else's questions, so this acts as a *pop* of sorts.

I mean, it's perfectly fine for you not to like it. Never mind the fact that you missed the point of the show entirely (that Brown was trying to show how it was a trick and not real), you obviously decided before it was on that you didn't want to see it. That's fine. It's your choice to watch what you please.

However, Mary (love that name), it's also our choice to watch what we please. How dare you think you have the right to determine what should and shouldn't be on our screens? It's my choice to watch the show if I want to - don't for a second think it's up to you whether anyone else watches it.

What bad effects would it have had on children? They watch someone scare a few people and reveal how they did it? OH MY GOD, SOMEONE CALL 999! You silly boy. Your vile attempt to start indoctrinating children in Christian values is as sickening as it is pathetic (that's a lot, by the way). Just because you don't want to see it doesn't mean no one else should watch it. If you don't like it, use the remote control to turn the channel over. Simple, no?

And that HUGE number of 700 really is impressive in a country with a population of close to 60 million. That's a monumental percentage of people who thought, like you, that this was a bad thing - so bad, that no one else should be allowed to watch it. Yep, 700 sure is impressive. Well done Mary, you've made a big and positive impact on all our lives. Is this what Jésus teaches you? To bother and irritate everyone else in as arrogant a fashion as is possible? Strange guy, that Jésus... strange.

why, because it was against your religion, well it isn't against mine, church boy - maybe I want to see a seance live on telly.

no-one forced you to watch it, did they?

Yeah, it does that. I'm gonna stick with Mary for short though.

Heh. Well, Mary doesn't let things like "facts" or "truth" bother him when he's on a roll. His own particular brand of christianity seems to consist of a church membership of 1, and a doctrine that revolves around one central tenet "Does it make me feel important? If it does, I like it".

But don't feel too bad when it does; Mary is the living embodiment of the Popular Front of Judea sketch in Life of Brian ("Whatever happened to the Popular Front Reg?" 'That's him over there').
