ITV Studio team already talking about the Quarter Finals like the Ecuador game is already decided. I hope they turn England over good and proper
If you just chip in once in a while, that's fine. I'm about most of the time at the moment.
Anyway, quick thoughts on the group B games now it's half time in the evening games today.
Paraguay V T&T was evenly matched in the first half and Paraguay got a surprise lead. It was quite similar to the own goal in the England V Paraguay game. That ball whipped in towards the far post is causing all sorts of problems and Sancho could only flick it into his own net.
T&T seemingly knew the score in the other game and they came out in the second half firing. They had so many chances, good chances but couldn't find the net. They tried really hard but it wasn't enough as they got caught by the sucker punch and T&T were out. They even end up with being bottom of the group and not scoring one goal.
The England V Sweden game was very much Sweden for most of the game. The England goal came at a time when England were just starting to do something. It was a lovely dipping shot from Joe Cole. Perhaps the keeper should have done better but it went in.
The second half was mostly Sweden again and they got their goal as England started collapsing at the back. The front post corners were causing all sorts of problems. Allback's header was the 2000th goal in the history of the World Cup, although Paraguay should have had it when they scored, only for that to be ruled offside, although the player offside didn't get a touch or run for the ball.
England looked to have stolen the win late on with a lovely header by Gerrard but Larsson poked it home after England failed to clear a basic throw in.
Germany V Sweden should be a cracker as both teams are playing well in attack, although Sweden probably lack a little cutting edge compared to Germany. England may find themselves in trouble if they continue to defend the way they did in the 2nd half.
Owen's injury was rather nasty and England may be starting to worry that they didn't bring a 5th striker, seeing as Sven is reluctant to play Walcott at all.

I'll do it if it means getting it up and running for you guys but it'll be about 5th on my list of message board priorities. If you guys are doing most of the modding though that's cool
