Had to drive a 2.0 16v Turbo Ford Mondeo saloon. It's a huge car and has very bad vision out of the rear compared to what I'm used to driving.

Had to do the old reverse round a corner and turn in the road as well as driving for 35 minutes.

I passed, (of course), so now I can drive a police car at legal speeds. I am aloud to use my siren and lights to stop "compliant" drivers, but I can't do most stuff until I've done the 3-week course.

The test I did is basically the normal driving test, but they are also looking to see how they think you will do on the 3-week test.

What's a Police Car-test like compared to a normal car test (... the ones I keep on failing, failing, failing and failing once-more)?

As you'll know, they'll do what they can to keep another young driver off the roads for another couple of months, but, since it's for the Police, is it actually any different?

I mean, people can get failed for NOT driving in a bus-lane [outside operational times - even though the roads are designed to work-around it] in today's tests, would you have gotten away with it?

What if you cut someone up with your siren going?

:P

Well done though (remember I congratulated you, if ever you do come after me; if ever I PASS my test...).

I do think while I'm driving, but it usually things like "Ooh, she's got nice boobs - I'll slow down a bit" and stuff like that.

How many times have you driven somewhere and then afterwards thought to yourself "I can't remember that journey at all!" ?

Be careful what you admit to around here, Timmargh, the filth are everywhere.

That is a scary statement.
I hope you mean that the controls become second nature, not that you don't have to think when you drive.

But why?
It doesn't look cool

I remember some bloke that drove past in his Saxo with his fogs on. I would have told him to turn them off, but I was too busy pishing myself because of the sticker on his windscreen that read, "STUD".
