Mine came earlier, just been playing it until it crashed my Cube (which hasn't happend in about a year, but never mind).

Very weird to play this after Resi 4, I don't think you couldn't get two shooting games any more different from each other.

So far:

+ Lots of humour and little touches which made me smile
+ More Captain Ash
+ Looks and sounds alot better with alot more speech
+ The stats & character gallery are back, with some old favourites
+ Intimidatingly huge amount of Challenges etc. to do
+ Doesn't look like EA have messed around with FRD's game.

- Couple of framerate slowdowns
- Pathetically weak and short opening level (the demo level)
- I seem to be crap at Arcade league.

The opening Story Level is a let down, specially since the beginning of TSP2 threw you into the sublime Siberia level. But the next level is far better. And has Captain Ash who is hilarious :)

Oh, and in the extras section you can see the credits, which has Cortez going all Saturday Night Fever on a mirror-balled dance floor. The sign on the wall says "The Big Tipper". :D

Exactly, so why are there so few in this one?

Thinking about it now, the humour in FP and it's cutscenes is probably one of my favourite new things.

Fair point, but Tipper in a female guard uniform is priceless.

The trouble with TS3 is the constant repitition, I don't just mean in Story mode, with your future self, but mainly the characters.

Out of the 150 characters, at least 50 are alternate costumes, it's frustrating to do a Story level full of original looking characters and get Cortez in a labcoat

Just finished 2 hours worth of Splitters FP.
Got myself 2 more platinums on the monkey curling and the Virus in the bunker level.
Other than that a hell of a lot of Arcade.

it's easier because you're not fighting with the twitchy controls and you've already got the tactics left over from TS2. The Story mode is miles better and the game is larger: I much prefer it.

I agree that it's easier, but with LIVE play, Future Perfect takes it above TS2.

No, I agree. In TSP2 I remember there were loads, including a brain :)

If that is the case I'm seriously dissapointed. That's just spinning the game out too far :S I never play on Co-Op really, if I'm playing it 2-Player it's always Arcade.
