God was used to explain the unexplainable but now we understand some of the unexplainable. We no longer need God like our ancesters. All we need is hope...
Human nature is destruction and the only thing that we should hope for is that we do not destroy the beautiful planet on which we live. We do not deserve the gifts we have but maybe one day we will be truely gateful for them...

Heh. Yeah, I saw Pandaemonium's post concerning the extraordinarily ropy maths used. How long he had to perfect it is irrelevant; fact is, that many beasts simply wouldn't fit into the space Moses described. Why...it's almost as if the space they gave in the Bible was designed only to take into account those animals that were known to live in the middle east and surrounding area's at the time of the Old Testament...
Tell you what; why don't you show us all the maths. Why don't you tell us the space the animals took up, and the 40 days of food. You're still at school, so I'm sure I hardly need tell you to show your working out...

Bwhahahahahahahahahah PROOF please. Outside of the Bible.

Many people lived a long time, Adam lived for 930 years, Noah for 950 years, Jared for 962 years and the longest ever life was Methuselah for 969 years.

It was, the population was at least 7 billion.

According to the bible, Noah lived into his 900's *snigger*
No wonder God needed a flood, it must have been so overpopulated.

Total up the space each animal filled up, 40 days worth of food, Noah and his family and I think you will find they fitted in perfectly. After all Noah did have around 120 years to perfect the ark, before its use.

I'll save them the bother, the're just going to post this link, which offered me a huge laugh the first time I read it.
"The median size of all animals on the ark would actually have been that of a small rat, according to Woodmorappe‘s up-to-date tabulations, while only about 11 % would have been much larger than a sheep."
Bwhahahahahahahahaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

And in addition, dinosaurs were aboard too! SCIENCE!

I asked this one a few weeks ago, and curiously I got no response from the ever evasive Gump...
How did Noah fit 2 of every single breed of animal alive on earth today, and every animal that has become extinct, onto the ark? Moses gives the exact measurements of the ark in the bible, and I fail to see how that many beasts can fit into that space.
