Would he actually get in the team though? What with Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard all fighting for those central midfield roles. Not to mention Butt, Cole, Parker, Phil Neville (LMAO hahaha).

Well, the Brazilian league has been in decline for many years now, so its natural for Brazilian national scouts to look at players transferred to Europe.

I mean if Gilberto Silva plays for Brazil, surely Edu will get a game sometime.

Phil Neville plays better on the left wing, anyway. :P

Edu for England seems a possiblity, but the citizenship and passport issues are complicated, as they are for Cudicini, who also wnats to play for England, and is still in the process of attaining these documents. Plus, I don't think he'd fit in with the rest of the team that well, as well as FIFA sticking their noses in as always.

He would get some games, but I don't think he'll bother though.
