Erm ok then....?

Would he actually get in the team though? What with Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard all fighting for those central midfield roles. Not to mention Butt, Cole, Parker, Phil Neville (LMAO hahaha).

If I remember his transfer saga correctly, I don't think he has a brazilian passport either ;)

brazilian league isn't bad at all. Just because you can't find players in champo which match all the 20's you used to find in the old games, doesn't mean its in decline.

THe football in the brazil league is actually very good even if they are permanetnly diving to get 25 yard free kicks! I actually watch quite a few brazilian league matches last season (and i expect many of you will lie and claim the same!) and they are exciting, quality matches. Maybe not the same quality as the prem but that is to be expected as its not the most attractive prospect for imports.

He's a good player, but it will be a few years yet before the Highbury clan begin worshipping Edu.

Well, it is the minimum requirement.

And plenty of players have played for seperate countries; for example, due to his ancestry and regular changes of civitizenship in the mixed up world of the late 1940s, Alfredo di Stefanio played for Columbia, Spain, Uruguay and Argentina. Plus Ferenck Puskas, one of the greates tforwards ever, played 4 games for Spain after being exiled from Hungary by the Communists.

Well, he definitely won't be playing for England for some time; he has yet to gain UK citizenship or a British passport.

Quite a setback. :)

He wouldn't play for us, if we paid him (proper money that is, not just his bus fare).

The Brazilian League is shocking. FIFA should really pump some money into global football, even Kazakhstan has a better league than Brazil! Alright, bit of overstatement, but you catch my drift.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
