Erm ok then....?

Would he actually get in the team though? What with Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard all fighting for those central midfield roles. Not to mention Butt, Cole, Parker, Phil Neville (LMAO hahaha).

hargreaves, lampard or bridge, or even parker could be on the left.
compared to a few years ago, we are spoilt for choice :-)

I'd take one of the three central players out (not Beckham) and put Thompson in cos he is England's best left midfielder. :P

Edu would be good to have for England on the bench, but he would never get in the first team.

We seriously should, we don't actually need Edu, but we do need Carlo Cudicini.

The spokesman added: "Fifa regulations say if you are a national of a country and have not represented another country at senior level, you may play for any other countries that you are eligible for."

Two years' residence in a country means a footballer can be naturalised to that nation's team if he has not previously played at senior international level, and if he gains a UK passport.

yeah passport is required. Takes about 5 years here i think. Cudicini is eligible with in the couple of months! get him in the england squad!

apparently it isn't. don't quote me on it and i'll check it later, but apparntly the FIFA regulations are changing, and its only country of usual residence for a minimum of 2 yaers. not sure abut this i'll check it but its what a couple of sites have claimed.

I repeat not sure! do not use this as the whole factual basis to run your life by! you know who you are.
