"Are you born gay or do you 'acquire' it?"

I heard two people talking about this the other night, and was wondering what you guys thought. Is being gay in your DNA, or is it 'acquired' through your life?

So yeh, enlighten me...

If we had free will the future would change every time someone made a choice/decision, so therefore you're saying that since God knows every choice a person is going to make meaning that all choices are already pre-determined, which in effect means that you're saying we don't have free will, only the illusion of it.

But the Bi(b)le says that there was nobody before Adam and Eve, so how can there be a rule against Brothers and Sisters marrying if they didn't exist?

God knows what will happen in the future, because He is outside of time.

Well before the fall of man, there were no curses on the world. For instance, there was no death and no disease etc. One of the curses put on after the fall of man, was how a brother and sister couldn't have relations, so pre-fall, brothers and sisters could marry, such is the case with Kain and Able.

Im not a christian, im still trying to make up my mind. I have read the bible and dont agree with bits of it. Kain and Able went and got wives, from where?

My view:

Hate the sin, love the sinner. It's the only way to show the love of God.
