Yes another WoW post, I will save you the need to urge your peni towards the keyboard in a desperate attempt to point this out...

Pretty sweet RPG so far, only a couple of hours in. Haven't quite seen why so many people have been fapping like porn monkeys over it yet but have been told by plenty you are no-where near scratching the surface of it yet (which I can believe by the sheer size of it so far).

Chose to be a Dwarf in the end, a Warrior Dwraf with possibly the ugliest face ever. Kicks ass in battle, spent ages at the opening of Dragonmaw fighting the wolves and troggs to level up a bit. One thing that is decent is that everyone who I have come across so far has been pretty helpful and not even slightly c*ck faced.

Interface is sweet, the layout was easy enough to get to grips with after the initial "this is just one area, wtf?!". The environments make Lisa Riley's mu*f saddle looking like a toddler's paddling pool.

Controls are easy, the magic areas aren't even slightly geeky from what I have come across so far, just drag it onto the bar and click it when you need it. Haven't really bought much yet but that too seems simple enough to use and from what I gather it nails other MMORPG's for its less geeky approach. For a first time MMORPG'er' I have founs it fack easy to get into and nothing like what I expected (only in a good way though).

Visually it is sweet, the soundtrack is awesome, the presentation is spot on etc etc *fap fap*

Wish I didn't have work tomorrow but life's a b*tch!

About that ?? Warlock slaughter thing, does anyone else have the problem where they're having fun with people their own level by dancing etc when suddenly a level ?? comes along and kills you for no reason?

Saying that mind, a bunch of level 28 horde people attacked me, about five of them, I danced while they slaughtered me, fair enough.

So I resurrect and they attack me again. Nooo way, first time was fine, so I go uber-rogue on them and take out two of their players before they kill me again. I roxor.

I come back again and chase the rest of them off, for some reason the others hadn't returned. I was only exploring a mine.

But it's PVP, don't complain if you get 'ganked' *shudders* or whatever. And please, can we never, ever, ever, ever, mention that word again? It's possibly one of the worst words I've ever heard.

Hehe.

I really want to get this game now. I'll rustle up a townie following and beg little wizards for money à la "Got a pound for the bus mate?"

It happens, but I have to say I've not experienced anything like that lately. Most of the Alliance players I've come across let me get on with what it is I'm doing, and I've seen fewer horde players picking fights too.

I think the majority of those who pick fights are those who power grind, people who level up as fast as they can so they can roam the land unchallenged, killing anything in sight. I don’s start fights myself, I know how annoying it is to be attacked in the middle of a quest or just trying to get from place to another.

"Rar, it's player vs. player though" yes, but that doesn't mean I should make other people's lives a misery simply because I'm several levels higher and can easily kill them should I decide to attack. I don't want to be one of those tos$ers thank you very much.

I really really want this game, but cant afford the monthly fee.

Not too sure how it all works, but just wondered, if i bought one copy of the game, is it possible to have 2 accounts so me and my brother could play it using the same cd and pay half each for the fee? Him on the PC and me on my Laptop?

I'm sure you can't have 2 people runnign the same account at the same time, otherwise everyone could just share accounts and they wouldn't be giving a guest pass out with the new packs.

The monthly fees are next to nothing £8 a month is just 3 pints less that month.

Wouldnt have to be at the same time, chances are if i do get the game he will want to play it too.

So im assuming for that to be possible we would have to buy 2 games and set up 2 accounts?

If it's not at the same time then you can just have different characters. But if you both wanna be on at the same time you will need 2 copies of the game and the 2 accounts.

---------------

Have to say that I've only been attacked twice by higher level people for no reason. Sure it's frustrating but hardly worth getting annoyed about beyond the initial "You ------" reaction.

Happened ysterday, two Horde came running down the road towards me. Higher level, so I stood still and waved. One stopped and waved, the other killed me in 3 hits.
I run back and resurrect, only to find the same two just down the road a bit. They turn and see me, I think "Damn" but the guy who killed me before apologised. Which was fair enough.

The only time it's annoyed me was halfway through a quest. Got a key and eventually found the box I needed to open. As I'm opening, a Horde Rogue appears from nowhere and massacres me. For no reason at all, nobody around raiding and I wasn't threatening him. Just took me out.
I'll admit I swore then.
But for the most part, especially when large groups suddenly appear, they leave you alone unless you attack them.
