Yes another WoW post, I will save you the need to urge your peni towards the keyboard in a desperate attempt to point this out...

Pretty sweet RPG so far, only a couple of hours in. Haven't quite seen why so many people have been fapping like porn monkeys over it yet but have been told by plenty you are no-where near scratching the surface of it yet (which I can believe by the sheer size of it so far).

Chose to be a Dwarf in the end, a Warrior Dwraf with possibly the ugliest face ever. Kicks ass in battle, spent ages at the opening of Dragonmaw fighting the wolves and troggs to level up a bit. One thing that is decent is that everyone who I have come across so far has been pretty helpful and not even slightly c*ck faced.

Interface is sweet, the layout was easy enough to get to grips with after the initial "this is just one area, wtf?!". The environments make Lisa Riley's mu*f saddle looking like a toddler's paddling pool.

Controls are easy, the magic areas aren't even slightly geeky from what I have come across so far, just drag it onto the bar and click it when you need it. Haven't really bought much yet but that too seems simple enough to use and from what I gather it nails other MMORPG's for its less geeky approach. For a first time MMORPG'er' I have founs it fack easy to get into and nothing like what I expected (only in a good way though).

Visually it is sweet, the soundtrack is awesome, the presentation is spot on etc etc *fap fap*

Wish I didn't have work tomorrow but life's a b*tch!

Heh. I had to get mine from Ebay. 56 quid and worth every penny. Hit a boring quest yesterday, but Goaty turning up in darkshore and having a bit of a laugh / explore / couple of quests soon cancelled that out.

Will I get to kill monsters with swords and magic? Cos if I do, I care not one jot about anyone's company. Leave me to my beard and my magic...

Yeah, think I was going those today.
I went wandering and realised I'd wandered into Horde land, to the far east of the Astranaar map. I found 5 Horde dancing round a campfire and promptly sat on the floor waving. They came over and danced around me, being cool enough. I'm lv31 and the weakest was lv34, so they didn't hurt me too much.
Until a lv?? Warlock turned up and roasted me in 1 blast.
Cue 5 horde crying over my corpse

Excellent

Heh. Did the same thing. I was wondering why the map wasn't filling in on my map, and came head to head with 3 ?? horde coming the other way. I'm afraid the sitting on the floor tactic didn't work for me, and they slaughtered me like a newborn lamb.

Pressing engagements I imagine.

I'll be online in about hour or so.
Working tomorrow means a 3am alarm call, which precludes me from going out this evening - 9pm hits and I'm "I've got to go to sleep now".

Stuck in a rut somewhat, need to clear Gonemergan FFS, with some DECENT people for once.

And need some help doing other stuff too.
