Apparently they called the argument one sided, yeah uh-huh.

Yup. International Politics is like sex. Sometimes it's done nicely with flowers, candles, and sweet nothings. Sometimes it's thrust up the fudge tunnel with no warning or vaseline.


Mind, I have to say; would it REALLY have been that difficult to change the resolution to also condemn the inevitable revenge attacks from Hamas? That would have removed any excuse for the veto.

Thats International Politics. Its based on hypocracy(sp?).

I agree but they Veto everything when they don't get their own way.

I remember they slated France/Russia with the Iraq issue last year. Each had used it about 5-10 times in the last few decades whilst Amereica's list was endless.

I think if they were going to do anything, they should have abstained(sp?) like the UK did. They couldn't have criticised Israel for killing a Terrorist Cell leader, that would be even more hypocritical(sp?) than they already are, but they didn't need to Veto it.
