Suprised no one else posted this, but according to a report, Chicken Tikka's that are bright red contain too much of a colouring which can cause:

Hyperactivity
Asmatha (Sp?)
Kidney Damage

and

Cancer.

Sounds to me like the report on Farmed Scotish Salmon where they said that was Cancer causing, but then they realised their mistakes and dismissed the claims, but does this report put you off your curry?

Hope to hear from you.

I can appreciate that. I don't have all the facts to hand, but according to most publications, 1 in 3 people will contract cancer in their lifetimes, has this always been the case, or has it increased/decreased?

I seriously doubt that. Take a guess at what I earn.

And don't forget that we are also the ones that have upped the survival rate of people suffering cancer in the last dacade substantially.

I saw an article in a tabloid newspaper last year that said that bottled water gives you cancer.

I'm not going to avoid eating tikka just because some overpaid medical clown finds it may marginally improve my chances of contracting cancer.

I agree. The world has gone into mental mode. Its some new health scare every week. These things probably do give a very slight increased risk of cancer, but it probably doesn't compare to things that we breath in from the air every day.

The real worries are things like Smoking.

According to scientis**ts everything can cause cancer, it's a load of horse sh*t, hypochondriacs read crap like this and then they s**tart to worry, it's not cancer they are going to die of, its high blood pressure and annurisms (sp?).
