Suprised no one else posted this, but according to a report, Chicken Tikka's that are bright red contain too much of a colouring which can cause:

Hyperactivity
Asmatha (Sp?)
Kidney Damage

and

Cancer.

Sounds to me like the report on Farmed Scotish Salmon where they said that was Cancer causing, but then they realised their mistakes and dismissed the claims, but does this report put you off your curry?

Hope to hear from you.

There was an item in the media recently regarding two scientists who have decided to become a plumber and postie, respectively, due to the atrocious pay and conditions. There is of course nothing wrong with either profession but it does demonstrate rather clearly the disparity between what we perceive as being important and not. There may be a high demand for plumbers, but surely there is also a high demand for finding a cure-ultra effective treatment to cancer(s)?

My "profession" is also woefully treated, though not to the same extent. Any job that is environmental is perceived as a labour of love and thus adverts in the papers are common place were they seek MSc grads with 5 years experience to work for £15k a year.

I started on a little over £12,000, after 2 years I'm nearing £13. after 4 years of studying for my PhD, if I pass and become a Dr. I can hope to earn £16-18 G.

The worst of it is, its about the most unsecure job ever. We are only given 6month-2year contracts, with very little prospects of permanant jobs.

Sucks to be me.

Coca-cola's new bottled water Dasani has been withdrawn from shops becasue of the same scare. It was only on the shelves for about a week!

Don't worry guys! Everything causes Cancer.

They've only just discovered that going to the toilet before you go to bed causes it, yawning too many times a day causes it, and who would of guessed it- farting too hard will cause it, and you've got a 50% chance of following through.***

If you live your life by the scientist, you'll stay in one room for the rest of your life, you won’t talk to nobody, and you'll be a nervous reck.

Did you know, crossing the road can kill?

[S]***These have yet to be scientifically proved.
