By that I meant Rio.

I read it before. There was no mention of rio.

I'm obviously assuming everyone is fit, alltghough I think there are suitable replacements for the players that are unavailable for Euro 2004.

I personally think we could do with a holding player in the middle of the park, hence my addition of Parker in this setup, who has had a great season. Whilst Gerrard and Lampard do defend at times, I would much prefer to use their incredible attacking ablity on the break, which for Gerrard at least is second to none. I would play Scholes wide left, and in the likely event that that fails I would either switch him with Lampard or replace him with Ashley Cole to give more of a defnesive left hand side, and to allow Bridge to get forward more.

Obviously Owen as a lone striker is a risk, as we may not have much presence there even if Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard join him. So he may have to be switched for Heskey, or alternatively, bring off Parker or Scholes and move Lampard to wide left, leaving a free spot up front for Heskey.

As Lil Bro said, I wish there was an alternative to Gary Neville, as he isn't a particularly good player in my books. However, he had a great partnership with Beckham before his departure, and don't see why this couldn't work down the right hand side.

also, campbell would be first choice and rio would replace terry.

cole will play instead of bridge.
