The idea behind this place is that instead of starting your own thread with one poem they can all go in here instead.
Here is then, a place for your all your word's of beauty, anger, love, disappointment and anything else you care to add.

Why do you put your self down, I hate it when people do that when they are quite good at the 'subject' and good be better if they tried harder and did not put them selves down.

No ! The second set was terrible, it destroyed and rythym and mood, plus it was so simple and childlike,as soon as i've got something to replace it, it will go.
Hate it !

First comment I love both of your poems - the first one more. Such rythm!

Second comment - Flockhart I think you need to give yourself more credit - that poem was very good indeed and i liked the other stanzas alot, a bit more infact in ways. It is clever!

I just been sitting on the bus coming up with what i considered to be quite decent lyrics and i've got home and can't remember the bloody phrasing. Typical

Me like, but like all poems there are a couple of lines that don't really. You might wanna try to rewrite the middle part again as you say, but using the same ideas.

I've just wrote this, i like the first verse and past that it's all downhill, i especially hate the middle, and i'm not sure why i've left it in.
Sunset
I walk alone
In the dark of night
As i walk alone in my mind
Sunset offers a privacy
That other times i cant find

Graceful peaceful quiet night
With all the people
Gone from sight
Offers a silence i cant find
Lets me think and free my mind

So i walk and walk and walk alone
Never getting so far from home
That sunrise could catch me
In my natural state
I wont be around
When the noisy world wakes

Kung Fu

When I was small, just wee to you,
I had a dream, to learn kung fu.
Some people laughed, said “no way!”
I knew I’d prove them wrong one day.
I had some lessons, punched and kicked,
Soon I was a self-defence addict.
Don’t come close, I’ll strut my stuff,
Just be warned I’m rather tough.
I quickly mastered kung fu skill,
Black belt just left to fulfil.
I went so crazy I almost burst,
This poem really is the worst.
But now I’m done, I am the king,
I think I’ll now try some boxing.

I don't have a title for this, t'was spare of the moment stuff.

Without you I am nothing,
Just like a fabled ghost.
I feel simply useless alone,
Its now I need you most.

Without you I am hollow,
I feel completely lost.
I remember all the good times,
I thought we were star-crossed.

Without you I am naked,
I feel completely bare.
Love just made me stronger,
Your kindness is so rare.

Without you I am leaving,
For life is now lonely.
Just live long, and prosper,
Do it, do it for me.

I swear I've read that one before ash - I don't get many chain emails, but I definately remember some of those lines.

I wish I still had the email to show you - but if it is coincedence..then...wow!
