Whatever.

Anyways, can you tell me what the difference between an Intel Celeron and a Pentium 4 processor is please?

I want to buy a laptop, and was thinking of one of these two.
The bottom one is like a hundred quid more and I want to know if it's really worth it for an extra 10 gig on the hard drive and a pentium 4 thingy whatsit.

So is it really really really worth it?

Did anyone find the title slightly ironic?

Out of those two, go with the pentium option. £100 extra, but 50% more hdd space, 4x the lvl 2 cache and the fact it's a P4 make it worth it.

Will 20GB be enough for you though? I suppose you could get an external hard drive as well. I use up so much space, I'll have to get one of those 300GB ones soon.

Crashes are random for the most part anyway but its something that can happen quite frequently with PC games although I experience less than I do with consoles games. The only possible let down are the graphics cards which is where you will have to really drop the detail just to get playable frame rates.

As long as they work without looking too shabby and dont make the thing crash every ten seconds I'll be happy.

If you weren't bothered about high resolutions and all the kn*bs and bobs it would run but it wouldn't look too great. When you consider how much I spent on mine it can only just run and thats with a £350-400 graphics card. All games will run its just at what level would you be happy running them thats the problem.

Would Generals work on them though? (pref the cheaper one)
It looks really good but my shitass PC won't even run Photoshop without throwing a fit now.

Generals requires a lot of processing power to run but the other Command and Conquer games along with the tycoon games would run okay on either of those two.

Laptops on the whole are crap for gaming anyway. I remember a problem with a Celeron dekstop I had not overclocking and it scored very poorly in bech tests. If you didn't want your laptop for gaming it would be alright.
