Hopefully this will cause a backlash against ETA's political wing and renewed military action to stop them - it's fine saying the war on terror isn't working, military action justs creates more terrorists etc, but WTF did those people who died today do to deserve that? Nothing. How can it actually get any worse?
The Spanish people obviously have very little sympathy with the claims of these terrorists or else their legitimate political wing would be more popular.
You cannot negotiate or be bombed into negotiations by terrorists - which is why the only response to their attacks can be likewise against them - with the Irish groups - although not 100% resolved, the UK security forces and military got the situation to a point where terrorists were being captured or killed more often than succeeding and the Irish groups saw they could never win, hence came to negotiations.
Another method is to go after financing and training - explosives are not free and people cannot learn how to build such devices without help.
They are so full of their own self-rightousness and belief that they are doing something good. Killing innocent people is a cowards tactic, and they should be treated like the animals they are.
If you catch my drift...
well that's crap, if I knew who it was that blew up 130 innocent people, and could get to them with relative ease, I would take great pleasure in gutting them like a fish.
Radio just gave out the latest figure - about 130 dead so far.

I agree. If anything, you see more attacks more frequently ever since the WoT was introduced. It's just fuelling more rebellion from the minor groups, thus increasing the threat.

No one has made any claims as of yet.
