Discovering new bands can be a tricky thing unless you type random buzzwords into Kazaa or watch music channels forever with a pen and paper in your hands. So here is a way of sharing knowledge of newish (up and coming) or unrecognised bands and allowing other people to enjoy a wider variety of music.

Just post the name of a band, the style of music they play (rock, metal, punk, etc) and which other bands they are similar to. Then we can all enjoy new music. Simple.

I'll get the ball rolling.

Finger Eleven -Grunge/metal - Similar to Staind/Creed

InMe - Nu Metal - Similar to Korn, early Limp Bizkit

3 doors down - rock - Similar to Alkaline Trio

Slick Shoes - Punk rock - Similar to Sum 41, American hifi

Add your own, spread the word.

Ah yes. Those little known bands, such as Metallica and Nirvana et al.

Now please read the original post and recognise that it is for bands that many people will NOT have heard of. This is NOT a best band thread.

Anyway, Stiltskin. Had one big hit 10 years ago, one album. Broke up almost immediately. But still great.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
