He thinks Dalmat is better than Gerrard.

Discuss.

(He also said Lampard, but while this is also true, I actually rate Lampard.)

I personally think that Scholes doesn't deserve a place at the moment and I would let Beckham drift into the centre where he plays for Madrid and I would play Dyer on the right and either Hargreaves or Bridge on the left of midfield. I agree that Dyer would work on the right however shifting the midfield around isn't something Erikson will attempt so soon to Euro 2004 and Scholes gets in the team on the merit of what he does for United and the potential that he has which doesn't set a good example for those hoping to break through into the England setup.

Moving on to the left side of midfield problem.

I actually think dyer should play on the right. I think he's more useful there, and then I think we should have Bridge at left back and push Ashley Cole into left midfield.

Best form this season, perhaps not to his full potential but he has still been a fantastic breath of fresh air in Newcastles midfield, regardless of whether he plays on the left or in the centre. I haven't missed one game on Newcastle World TV this year. I listen to all of them on the radio section of World TV and then watch the full 90 a day afterwards. Dyer still remains the most warrant for the left side of the England midfield.

Heh. You obviously didn't read what I wrote so I shall quote myself:

"I'm not doubting that he's a great player, but he's done nothing special this season and on current form doesn't deserve a place"

This season, Dyer has not played as we know he can. And the England team shouuld be chosen on current form.

I still can't believe you disagreed with my point about the final game of last season.....

I did watch the game and if you bothered to watch the Premiership you would have seen I was mentioned in an email that I sent in regarding the challenge and how disgusting it was.

One game doesn't make him a batter player, how you can even think that shows the mentality of this conversation.

Whats Dyer done? Ha! Do you only watch Chelsea play or do you actually bother to see whats going on in the rest of the Premiership? Dyer works absolutely tirelessly for Newcastle in every single game which is the reason why he is injured so much because his shins can't take the running. He has also ran the most out of any player in the Premiership this season in any one game against Arsenal earlier in the season.

Just because his name isn't plastered all over the papers doesn't mean he isn't playing great football.

What has Dyer done to deserve a place. I'm not doubting that he's a great player, but he's done nothing special this season and on current form doesn't deserve a place. What has Hargreaves EVER done to warrant a place over Lampard?

Oh please take off your rose tinted glasses.

*Smacks head on wall*

Did I compare him directly or did I say in Lampard's own way?

Scholes doesn't deserve his place at the moment but Lampard doesn't deserve the left place as much as Hargreaves or Dyer. Maybe the center position of Scholes continues but not the left.
