So I'm watching this movie yesterday and at the moment LL Cool J's "Preach" character gets his Zippo lighter out of his pocket, after it has been submerged in water for the past few minutes, and it LIGHTS FIRST TIME, I call out "Oh come on, that’s ridiculous! There’s no way it would have lit on the first spark"

I then paused, turned to my girlfriend and said, “Of course, genetically engineered super intelligent sharks that are being harvested for a alzheimer's cure, that change size throughout the movie I have no problem with *at all*”

What a gloriously entertaining mega budget “B” movie (contradictory I know, but it cannot be anything other than a b movie at heart.) In the same vein as “Deep Rising”, this movie may be silly, it’s science might be totally far fetched (“They SWAM BACKWARDS!!!!”, erm, a physical impossibility), it might be crappy and idiotic, but its fun. All it really wants to do is impress you with its special effects (partial success), frighten you (close to total failure) and gross you out (bull’s-eye).

Most of all though, its just plain and simple damn good fun.

I have it on DVD, it's good for some shark biting action but as you say for nothing else. It basically felt like Jaws redone with some smart ass who thought "...wait a second...wait wait it's coming to me...almost there...HUH! What if Jaws was stronger AND smarter! God that'd be cool! And what if we chucked in a couple more of them?! We can just say they were created in a lab. They'll have to believe that it holds together so well"

Yeah I enjoyed it, not because it was a good film but because it was an amusing film.

Inaccuracy-riddled films are always good fun.
