Bruce Dickinson= legend.
As for Ms NY's comment: You're thinking of Death metal, which is completely different.

Try listening to some Iron Maiden. Although the band is a prime example of metal the singer NEVER screams or 'grumbles'. He always sings very melodically and the lyrics are amazing (This probably has something to do with the fact that he has an English Poetry degree from Oxford University!!). Plus the guitar solos that band play are just....stunning.

Maybe, but his music really sucks. Drum machines and recorded sound are awful in the first place, but he is really terrible at singing. He may be able to sing fast, but he is awful compared to guys like Tony Martin, James Hetfield and Dexter Holland.
Then again, on the flipside, you get a HELL of alot of guff shovelled over from the States under the guise of being 'cool and you should listen to this', which is just generic poo.
Stuff like Nelly and whatever. Its about as interesting as toast.

Nick has a fair point, we all like differnet things in different ways. Just learn to repect other views and they will do the same for you. And for crying out loud stop swearing!
