A lot of the characters were quite broadly drawn right from the start I think - the anally retentive programmer, the pushy brother of the President, the naieve young kid carrying the virus - to that end, it felt quite predictable. But having watched two series (okay, one and a half - never finished series 1) I know not to believe what I see in the first episodes.
So what did you all think of Kim's new job at CTU? Pish and nonsense? And more importantly, what's the deal with her hair? It's horrible and she's much less attractive than she was before. And I don't really see how they're going to justify getting her into skimpy costumes, unless the sprinklers go off at CTU.
I may have to install the 120GB drive at last, and then the downloading shall commence!

They got it spot on with series 2 and even had a cool discussion show afterwards if you watched the BBC3 one.
Now I have to fast forward through crappy ads!
Even the americans don't have ads this time around they just get a bit at the start and the end saying 'sponsored by ford' and then the get 45 minutes of unbroken 24!

That's the beauty of 24 though.
It seems to be rubbish, and boring on the first episode, but every detail in it falls into place later on in the series.

Yea it's started slowly near the end it gets more intense.
I really enjoyed that, first episode I've ever seen of 24.
