Just a reminder to everyone, because like you'd forget this (!) that 24 Season 3 starts on Sky One tonight at 9PM - with no editing out either.

From the trailers it looks rather excellent..."You have a virus"...

First one is longer without adverts so that's why it spills over an hour. I hope.

I'm up to episode 13 (love internet) and I must say it's my favourite season :-)

I'll take adverts over "sorry the program is off for two weeks whilst we show sport" or "sorry BBC choice viewers, you have to wait a week with no 24 to get the last episode"...

That's the problem with Sky having the rights :\ just hope they'll be repeating it.

Sky One payed 7 million for exclusivity to 24 season three. That's it.

Yep, 24 is on for an 1h and 15mins, meaning either a long episode or half an hour of intervals *arggh!*.

Im sure its repeated later on Sky One Mix or on another day:

Saturday: Sky One - 9pm
Sunday: Sky One Mix - 10pm

Can't wait now, not long to go...

Oh I agree. But that was what the press release said. It was on the BBC site somewhere.

Plus any argument about serving just a section of the nation would be total BS. They have more minority programs than the rest of the stations put together. Hell, BBC 4 is a whole channel full.

The article I saw said that the BBC were unwilling to guarantee a straight 24 program run, BBC already buys tons of programming in and wastes money by the bucketful as it is so that would be a lame excuse.

They were offered it. Something about Fox wanting to much money and being a public service not wasting money serving just some of the population blah de blah.
