Just finished reading the new NOM, which has a huge article on this. As a huge fan of the 3D Sonic games, this looks amazing. Plus you can choose to get weapons and blow random stuff up. No boring treasure hunting sections, no walkers, no fishing, no (or absolute minimum) Amy-chasing-Sonic rubbish, just high-speed levels and complete destruction of anything that gets in your way.

I love games.

Best sonic game was Sonic-R, the tracks on that were beautiful.

They got drunk after the Dreamcast's short reign ended. Sonic Team are still working hard though.

Yeah, that sh**ty looking "rub the screen to make Sonic run" thing. I remember when SEGA were good. What the hell happened? :(

Excuse the MSN speak but...LOL!

My first experience of Sonic Heroes was of landing on a platform only to glitch right through it falling through black nothingness forcing me to have to reset the game.

Solid platformer? You amuse me.

I have to agree with Albino-man on the 2D sonic idea. I love the classic Sonic games...it's a shame Sonic Team struggle to produce Sonic games of similar quality.

Patience Albino Man. Those nice people at SEGA are (apparantly) working on a new DS Sonic title as we speak.

I'd rather see SEGA focussing its efforts on some DS stuff. How about a REALLY good 2D Sonic game; as good as the Mega Drive classics, and better than the ok GBA games? Is that too much to ask?!

IS IT?!?!
