Finally got my copy delivered on Saturday - Brand new and still in cellophane!

W. O. W.

I remember this as being one of the greatest games of all time, but I don't remember it being THIS great! I truly am blown away by, yes, a PSOne game. It is now my favourite game of the moment and I'll definately not be getting rid of this baby again!

If you no longer own this, or have never played it, I strongly suggest you get hold of a copy - you won't be disappointed (unless last-gen graphics are a problem to you).

I'm only up to the bit where Shinra are trying to bring the plate down over Sector 7, but I can safely say I won't be on Live or PS2 Online for a while yet!

By the time I've finished this, I'll have Crystal Chronicles to get through too...

Anyhoo, please post your views/memories etc. of this game on here so I can see how many of you feel the same as me about this gem of a game.

I hope it is remade like the rumours say...

Am I the only one who didn't bother with that? I just went and did it, sod faffing around morphing ghost ships or whatever it is you have to do.

Complete FFX first because if you play FF7 first it will totally ruin your enjoyment of FFX when you see how much better 7 is

Yea i'd have to go with Ruby as well, like FFF said as long as you have the underwater materia when facing Emerald it's just really like any other fight.

Nah, Ruby.
Once you've got the underwater materia for Emerald, it's just like any other boss fight. Only longer and harder, obviously.

Ruby has some evil tricks - the whole hand-burying thing, and that whirlpool thing removing characters.
Plus you have to kill 2 of your party before going to fight him if you want to do it properly.

So Ruby.

The final boss is Safer sephiroth. Bizarre sephiroth is the boss before. Cloud threw the real Sephiroth into the Mako energy at the bottom of the Nibel Mako reactor. The sephiroth you se on the cargo ship etc. Is a Clone Sephiroth created by Jenova. That is why Sephiroth plans t become one with the planet at the Jenova Reunion. Because it is Jenova becoming one with the planet, and is acting through Sephiroth. That's my understanding of it anyway.

I can't remember them.
Probably because by the time you've beaten Ruby, they take about 2 seconds to despatch of.
