I know it's been about for a while. I wasn't keen on the whole idea really, but having watched it tonight I think I can safely say it was a stonking film. Really impressed with the CGI, the action scenes, and the whole 'dark' storyline (I was expecting a cheesy kids affair like spiderman).

Surprise hit of the year for me. What did you think?

not brad pitt surely. he's not mysterious enough, he's a bit of a redneck hick.

I thought George Clooeny was a good choice but he is too old now I'd say. Hugh Jackman could do it.

Val Kilmer wasn't bad, just wooden.

Hmm... Brad Pitt?

Guy Pearce would be good as Batman I think.

Yeh it's called the Lazuras Pit or something and it's full of secret chemicals that he can survive and it actually heals him and is like a sort of eternal youth thing if he keeps going into it. Apparently it leaves him weak for a wee while once he emerges though.

We'll see. I love the way Johnny Depp plays such quirky characters. If he can do that, without being extremely camp and unbelievable, we may be ok. Who is Batman this time around, not George Clooney again, please.

That sounds a bit stupid.

Hmm I don't know Borat, google "Ra's al Ghul" and read a profile. He doesn't have any super powers he is simply an exceptionally strong terrorist who is an expert in hand to hand comabt, a master swordsman and he can heal all his injuries and extend his life by going into a pit of secret chemicals. That's a role I can kind of picture him in. He is also one of the few villains to figure out that Batman is Bruce Wayne and fights with Batman whenever it suits him so it's one of the more intelligent villains if that makes any difference lol.

Yep, the first two batman films were great I thought. After that it just went a bit silly.

Depends what else they've lined up for the film.

Batman Forever was ok to watch, but ultimately a bad film, while Batman & Robin was so awful it's not even funny. Having said that, however, Batman and Batman Returns were two damn good superhero films.

I suppose it could go either way.
