and, thats about it. an empty transfer window to say the least, and the top 3 clubs are rerally the only ones spending. remember, who you vote for:

1. jose antonio reyes - Great player, but with the likes of Pires it is just making the squad bigger and stronger to compete for Europe


2. louis saha - I personally think Saha is a good buy for Manchester United. If Van Nistlerooy got injured, they'd just have Forlan and Solsjkaer. Saha will be a great partnership fir Van Nistlerooy.

3. scott parker - What's going on here? This has to be the worst transfer of them all. Parker is a quality player, but with the likes of Lampard, Cole and Duff they don't really need Parker. I'm surprised Parker went to Chelsea. He should of stayed at Charlton who are in 4th spot and have already beat Chelsea 4-1 this season. At least he'd be in the team all the while.

4. nobby solano - Bargain of this season by a mile. Solano has the 3rd highest goal assist. Villa are very strong on the left and needed somebody on the right flank to replace Hendrie. Solano will prove a big buy for Villa and will provide good service in the box for Angel and Crouch.

i would say solano is worth ten times what he was sld for. its coz he had a rift with sir bobby.

General Press opinion seems to suggest Reyes is the 'best' buy.

Wouldn't say he was the best *value* though.

I think Solano will turn out to be best value for money.
