Reyes was the best quality player bought in the transfer window. However it will be hilarious when arsenal declare themselves bankrupt and we sign him for a couple of mill.

Parker should have been bought last summer, although had we got him then i doubt we would have got claude makalele who has been excellent. But a very British and irish midfield would have looked very interesting.

could have: duff-lampard-parker-cole in midfield that actually looks quite awesome and i'd like to see it tried soon!

Saha will do well at man utd, but only cos they are a top 3 team, he is a fairly average player , but he's better than forlan and can at least poke a few in. Had he not moved i could have seen him just going through a few huge barren patches like last season.

No offence to villa fans but why the hell did nobby solano go there. wouldn't have left newcastle but if i had to there are at least 4 or 5 other teams i would have gone to first. I like the villa, but surely joining birmingham who were interested makes far more sense. Brum have a good backbone. Taylor-upson-purse/cunningham-dunn-savage-forsell-dugarry and have decent European prospects over the next couple of seasons, all they need is wide players, and nobby blatantly fits the bill.

McBride was a good signing and should be good for a fair few goals a season, why fulham didn't go for radzinski as well is beyond me as he is a god.

Heh. You said he was useless before.....

One appalling 4-3 defeat and you're now praising him....

Defoe made a good impact yesterday, with a great goal. However for my team SPurs I think it has to be Michael Brow. No, he hasn't scored. No he hasn't nmade any great through balls. But his grit and determination so far has match anyone in our team, and I think he could be the answer to our midfield crisis.

Spoiling? Hah! That's the biggest understatement of the year! :)

Pah. That's old news - even Arsénal are doing that, these days! ;D

I have to laugh at Reyes and the Gooners, though. How he was gonna do `all-this´ and `all-that´ against Middelsbrough... How he would be "our new Henry"....And what does he do? Helps 'Boro to a goal that sends THEM into the Cup Final, instead! :D

Lessons to be learnt... Don't believe everything you read! Don't rant and rave-on about foreign players who are gonna be `all-this´ when, in truth, you'd never heard of the guy before! HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!

You can moan all you want about how it "doesn't matter, anyway", but, the truth is, you (like all "top 3" Premier League teams) have a reputation to maintain as one of England's elite. So, when you do mess-up, you've got to expect some disrespect - because, you deserve it (just like we did, against West Brom).

No, not really. Just telling you how it is really!

You're success humours me, really it does, but my point was you were hardly a success story and the amount spent by Roman is a vast more than what you have achieved over the years, why do you think Chelsea where in debt in the first place? spending too much and with very little in return.

I.Think.So

I will disagree with anyone trying to do what Chelsea have done this season, regardless of the name of the team!

Wow. Someone's getting a bit too into this argument....

Erm well we haven't had any success recently......

European Cup Winners Cup
European Super Cup
Fa Cup x 2
Champions League quarter final
League Cup

The fact is, we were in a similar position to the one that leeds are in now. We were close to administration. And a lot of credit must go to Trevor Birch, who has now moved to leeds to help them. He specialises in insolvency or summat like that, and got rid of all of our debts by firstly changing the way the club was run, and secondly by finding the buyer.

Luckily he hit the jackpot, and found a man with a huge sum of money, which he was willing to put into football.

If leeds find a foreign buyer who gives them £100 mil and gets them out of debt, will you be moaning about them? will you spit your dummy out and cry again? I.Think.Not.

If you think Chelsea are being moaned at for spending a bit of money you're an even bigger moron than what I thought.

What have Chelsea actually achieved and won in recent years to warrant having so much money?

Yes United spent 30 mill on Rio BUT it's money well earned from Success and marketing success over many years!

Your money comes a stranger who throws money at anyone to win something

Great achievement there....

Weldone Chelsea.
