Ouuch.. I feel as though I'm about to die, so if I go missing..

I just fell down some stairs.. :(
Watching it on You've Been Framed probably would've been funny but it's not. Surely everyone has been silly enough to fall down some stairs.

Stupid. Ran upstairs to get a drink. Walked downstairs, it's the cellar so they're concrete.. Jump off the last step, but banged head on the low ceiling, landing straight on my back on a step, banging head and arms to go with that..
And you know what? I thought I was gonna die! Seriously, I panicked BIG time screaming "Mum!!", but she wouldn't have heard anyway because she was asleep until I woke her up. It was a very emotional moment! :p
Then tried to run upstairs having a sort of panic attack.

So.. I'm not going to sleep now even though I have an interview tomorrow :s I might die in my sleep and I don't want to do that!

Anyhoo.

All of a sudden I'm interested to know now.. obviously falling down the stairs might not kill you, but what's the closest you've ever come to nearly dying? Please share!

It's amazing how quickly a wheelchair becomes unstable at speed - a couple of wobbles and suddenly you're splayed out, face down on the tarmac.

Ouch.

"For this they gave me a wheelchair,"

Hey I had a wheelchair witha plank once. When I broke my le by falling of a bridge onto a old (not used) train track (I was 5). Anyway they gave me a wheelchair with a plank to keep my let streght. That was so fun, I went down this hill neer us, but got slightly out of control and almost went into a wall at 20mph. Broken leg first but I narrowly avoided it. It must have been funny whaching this 5 year old kid in a wheelchair with one leg sticking out in front of me barrowling down the road. That was the most scary thing that I remember happening to me

Emotionol moment, hehe.

One day I fell out of this huge tree, on my was down a sharp branch, caught my side and was about a centimetre deep, there wasn't any blood but it stung so bad.

Me and my mate were down a dark lane, smoking at about 10pm, there was a bush next to us and it started to russle. This big man just walked from the bush, he was tall, dark and he was smoking to. Instinctively, we ran as fast as we could, it could've been anyone, rapist, murderer, psycho, or probably just a man in a bush.
The first thing I thought of was the bit in Signs were the alien in the bush at that brazilian party. Freaky, eh?

If I did that now, the first question to be asked would be: "How did he get up the stairs in the first place?!?"
