Well, the drug is being (or has been) downgraded to class C. What does this mean? The government are keen to point out that it is still illegal, that those in possession will still be arrested.

On the news tonight, they used the phrase "Cannabis, a drug tens of thousands of people choose to smoke each week". I think they are seriously underestimating how widespread its use is. I wager everyone on here knows somebody who smokes it, I certainly do. Could decriminalizing the drug work in this country? There are huge benefits for the government in the way that it would free up a lot of police time, which could be used for catching those dealing/possessing harder drugs.

Is there any point whatsoever in downgrading the drug as they have done?

Do you have any views on the drug, or the questions I have asked above?

I've been working hard at the gym this week, although it's only been cardiovascular stuff, no weights. So aching is kept to a minimum.

*smug grin*

Do you get a lot of idiots like that?

Yeah, I'm off to bed shortly, gonna read some more of 'I am Legend'.

I have a whole shelf of books that I've read once. It's so long since I read em, I've forgotten half the story - it's great!

I may have to have a sandwich before I retire though.

Watched Horizon before, it was about the Atkins diet. I must say I couldn't eat that sort of food all day every day, I like my veg, salad and sugary stuff too much.

My shoulder aches, wrenched it struggling with a guy that was arrested for GBH and have just been to the gym, so I ache.

*Aches*

I've had my fill for the day - I'll be in bed by about 12 o'clock so I'll be okay then.

Hmmm, I think I need some more Pringles ...

I don't envy that, perhaps we're both in need of some herbal refreshment ....

I'll have to remember that one. I'm useless with jokes, I laugh at them, then forget them almost straight away.

pfff, my god damn back is killing me. I fell down a few stairs when rushing the other morning and landed quite painfully.

Perhaps a trip to the osteopath could be in order, although I'm flat broke. I can't even get drunk to ease the pain a bit. Bah!

On the subject of giggling ...

Me and a few mates had enjoyed the topic of this thread together and then I told my mate a joke:-

"What's green and invisible?"
"I don't know."
*Timmargh holds out empty hand*
"This cabbage."

... and the poor bloke was laughing for about half an hour. I'm laughing right now just thinking about it!

He's never forgiven me.
