Free Radical and EA :S have anounced they will be working together for a new Timeplitters title for 2005.

The story and direction is quite possibly the worst I have had the displeasure of playing.
Ah, TimeSplitters 2 was excellent. Much better than Halo I thought, and the single player was fun because it didn't take itself too seriously.
Hopefully the third will be yet another great game.

The single player was fun co-operative, but then again you don't play with friends do you!!

How anyone could find pleasure out of the TS2 single player is beyond me. I just hope they sort out a decent story mode between now and the 3rd.

This is due to a disagreement between Eidos and Free Radical, the company wished Free Radical to concentrate the next Timesplitters title for the PS2 and X-box, the company, being Nintendo fans fell out and for both their new third person title and Timesplitters 3 the company needed a new publisher.
EA obliged.
I'm presuming but I know Free Radical opposed Eidos' lack of published software on the Gamecube... Possibly the same with Burnot.
