Was a while ago... Nintendo own the rights to the Goldeneye engine and would lease it to EA to make... pass it over to TS developers Free Radical and we'll have yet another 3-way Nintendo exclusive.
This was a rumour regarding Nintendo's closeness.
There was stuff about it months back on www.er-no.com

If the TS team negotiate with EA in future projects, maybe bring them all on board for the next James Bond, we may finally get to see the official Goldeneye 2

Wha?
Point me in the right direction of said rumours, sonny!
Sounds good.
But as for EA they do make good games, FIFA is actually rather enjoyable, not the best but fun. Return of the King is a really great game, old MOH games are also fantastic it is hardly the publishers fault the developer didn't do much with the sequel, SSX is a fantastic game... even Harry Potter was rather enjoyable in places.
EA are far from a bad developer... they never make any truly fantastic games that often but with Burnout and Timesplitters... that is about to change.
Heh now with the Goldeneye team at their helm why the hell don't EA give them the license to the James bond games.
DAMN THAT's a good idea!

Temporary memory lapse of obvious spelling errors there.
