I want to network my PC and my Laptop, and i was wondering how it would be done using wires (not wireless cant afford it).
So far i know i need:
Router
PCI Network Card
PCMCIA Network Card
Ethernet Cable - I think???
How much would all of this cost (I have £100 to spend), and in the near future i am looking to hook my PS2 up to the network aswell. My Laptop is upstairs and the Pc is downstairs and i am wanting to share my adsl connection.
Both computers run WinME.
Where can i get the equipment from?
Thanks.
James

I'll get them from that link i posted down the page, their shop is near to me, and i'll pick some up when i get the Nic. Just that with Full Duplex i can get transmission rates of 20/200 as long as the card in my laptop will allow that...

Funky.
Do I need a hub of some sort if I'm going to connect up more than 2?
