"Do U Think the PS2 is still the best"

Ever since th ps1 came out sony have always lead the way in terms of sales, popularity, and graphics. But ever since Microsoft released it's XBOX there has been some competition, not just graphicly wise but poulartiy. Do u think the PS2 has to worry about the XBOX overtaking it or does it have to worry about overtaking it.

yeah so Ps2 rule and earn much more money than any of Xbox or Game cube so they can make better console which result in even more profits which makes then build even better consoles and even more profit which they then spend it all in one night down the pub.

In terms of quality gaming..

GameCube > Xbox > PS2

But I still like them all.

Except with GTA it is:

Rockstar make game
Rockstar sign a contract with Sony that says PS2 only for a year
(Rockstar ger their money out of it)
Rockstar then release it on Xbox after the contract is up and make yet more money

And Sony only make royalties.

The PS2 will never be taken over in terms of popularity, it has now passed the 70 million mark. I don't see any console ever selling as much as that in the future, as the PS3 will be under attack from Xbox Next and the N5.

For the types of games I like it is Xbox > Gamecube > PS2.

It just doesn't cut it any more, it is old. Time to accept that and just enjoy it for what it is as opposed to trying to argue that it is the best now. Because it isn't.

And PGR wipes Gran Turismo.

but gran turismo rules it is the best how can whatever that game is beat gt??

microsoft are the richest though and xbox is owned by guess who..
70million is peanuts to microsoft....

i mean bill gates has over 30 billion dolars and he is the richest person in the world so they could fight back but..

ps2 still rules cause its smaller too and vertical improves qualitly.

Project Gotham Racing is just a better game than Gran Turismo. I know because I have both.

Better graphics, more cars, more tracks, better sound and above all more fun.

Yes the Xbox is big, but it is the games that make the difference.

Oh and putting the PS2 in vertical causes loading errors in quite a few games. It's a pointless feature.
