The main reason is cos they decide to stick other languages in our games and sell them as European versions.
The US and Canada have all their games in just English even though there are a lot of Mexicans in the south who speak Spanish and in Canada they mostly speak French!
So why don't we in the UK have just Enlgish version games?
The reason is cos companies decide to kill 2 birds with one stone....they make the games cheaply in Europe and stick loads of languages in the game making us have to wait another few months til launch.
I hate when they do that!

PAL is a far better system than NSTC for games... Unfortunatly most games are written for use on... and are converted from NSTC to PAL and so PAL peps suffer from the result

Nah! Australia get game s up to 6 months afeter Europe... there are one or 2 exceptions (1080 came out earliuer) but that's for some weird reason that I won't go into.
Anyway, NTSC is better for games coz u get faster refresh and smoother, faster games. But for TV it sux... the colours are poor, and u lose lines so there is less good picture

Since they too are using the PAL system... why not produce more of these carts/CD/etc... and sell them in the British market?...

There is no reason why games come out in the US before Europe and the rest of the world, other than the fact that the publishers can control distribution and pricing. The European gaming market has overtaken the US gaming market, so there are no excuses!
What I really hate is how a game made in the UK by British programmers and a British company gets it's games published by an American company meaning the US get a game WE made before WE get it.
A prime example: Rareware.
Games made in England but the US get them first.

You'd've thought that the Japanese and Americans would have switched to Pal by now!
Pal TV's are much better than NTSC!
