Thanks for the most dull conference ever, Nintendo.
It's going to be made or broken on the reception of Nintendo's in-house and exclusive games as usual.

Wow THAT sounds positive.
The problem with multicore processors and whatnot is that programmers have to write loads more code, and it is a lot more complex. That's what takes the time and money. If Nintendo had found a way to allow programmers to use the machine's power for a fraction of the coding, they would be on to a surefire winner.

That's easier said than done though.
Whichever console has the largest selection of games, that will be the one to win. The more games you have, the more choice, the more customers you attract, the greater the user base, so the more games are made. It's a simple cycle that caused the original PLaystation to become king of the market. If Nintendo can manage to make the Revolution cheap to develop for, without sacrificing the power and graphics of the other two consoles too much, they'll be on to a winner.

Nintendo cut ties with these developers but they've managed to expand. They've got Retro and their new innovation company thing.
What I like about Revolution is that games will be cheap to make on it. Meaning upstarting new developers will make Revolution games as it is all they can afford to do to start off with.

Well, the Gamecube was cutting edge technology, but not quite as good as the X-Box, but look at Resi 4 and the new Zelda video - that'll be the standard on the Revolution, most likely.
First Rare and now they've got exclusive rights to all 3 yes 3 of Silicon Knights Too Human games. That's if they ever get released...
Interesting.
Hopefully each Nintendo game will be of such quality that people will buy a console for that sole game.

Greatest thing Nintendo have probably ever said.
Right kick in the face for everyone wanting a console that offers everything. Revolution is now very bottom of the list...
