Thanks for the most dull conference ever, Nintendo.
Shigeru Miyamoto: You know, I didn't get a chance to see the Sony and Microsoft presentations for myself, but from what I've heard from people it sounds like they are going to be using cutting-edge technology, as are we."
Still not conclusive. Using cutting edge technology but not as good as the 360? What?

I never thought I'd say it, but I hate Ninty right now.

Sounds more and more like Mario 128 was just a big load of rubbish talk from Ninty to get us excited about something they never really had a killer app idea for, to me.
Current generation games will always be overshadowed by next generation games. Focusing on this generation makes Nintendo seem like they're stuck in the past, clinging to a sinking ship. Elektroplankton and GB Micro aren't things to clamour about - they're pretty lame, really. Nintendo just didn't have enough to show. That's why all the mainstream media is laughing at them, saying that their show was rubbish and that they are floundering behind the market, set to become a niche player again. Whether its true or not remains to be seen, but the fact that they're saying it shows that Nintendo have just made a joke of themselves, and put their reputation into further tatters. Urg.
Nintendo suck.
:-(
What on earth are they playing at? The poor man even tries to have a dig at Sony by saying that they don't have anything playable. Well neither do you, Shigeru.
This makes me cry real tears:

The good points are about how they're driving their download service from the consumer end (which means low prices) and the possibility of Kid Icarus.

Ripping out of my fase.
IGNcube: Have Revolution development kits gone out yet?
Shigeru Miyamoto: We have not sent out development kits to developers yet.
IGNcube: Can we expect Nintendo to collaborate with more third parties on Revolution games?
Shigeru Miyamoto: At this point, we've only been talking with a few companies. One thing we want to make sure that we don't do is have too many games of the same type or genre. We don't want too many games involving the same themes or characters.
How can you not want too many games?
How can you not want too many games with the same characters and have all the Mario crap that's just been announced?
