Once again, Arsénal were far-too-relient on Thierry Henry to do all their counter-attacking work for them, and Inter Milan were in a right-old-mess; having recently changed managers, and all that.
The only reason you were lucky-enough to get 5 goals was because they practically 'gave-up' after the third one went in, and all hope was therefore lost, at such a late stage in the season.
But if Martins had scored that chance Ashley Cole blocked (quite well and LEGALLY, might I add) then things would've been very different indeed!
It would've only taken one second-half goal to fire-up Christian Vieri, who seemed quite "non-existant" after half-time.
But it is still ONLY 2 games won. That's 6 points.
...And look at where Inter are - HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAA!! :P :D
Inter who?
--------------
Yes, the VERY same side who beat you 3-0 in your own back yard.
And, in my opinion, you won 3-1 (figuretively speaking); Inters' heads dropped after the third.
The only celebration Arsenal will have in Europe is getting as far as the knock-out stages. They ain't never going to win the Champions League.
Which is why being impartial is so much better. Because you can actually view it the way it is - ie. both Man U and Arsenal being two of the best teams in the world.
:-)

or something similar.

Yeah. Funny really.
"They didn't play that well."
If it was Man United, however...

my feeling is most of these replies are from Man United fans.
We just beat Inter at the San siro with parlour/edu/cygan?!!
The Ref didn't exactly gives any advantage to us as he seemed to give free kicks for someone getting a foot on the ball and the commentators didn't exactly go 'wow' at every pass, just at Thierry Henry.
There you go talking about cocky.
In true europeon Arsenal fashion they should lose their next game.
The last two goals were borne more from Inter giving up than Arsenal being excellent. Fair enough, I thing Arsenal deserved the win, but the game played out more like a 2-1, and any calls from Arsenal fans about their supposed European excellence after one freak and flattering result which relied heavily on some dubious refereeing and linesman decisions is more than a little premature.
Most annoying thing about the whole game were the commentators. Every pass by Arsenal you'd think was a masterstroke that would put Zidane to shame, and every time an Arsenal player went to ground they were screaming for the referee to administer cards. Pair of complete muppets. Impartial commentary anyone?
