Secondly, Arsenal's victory in Italy was decent specially with the player's that were out injured/suspended but it must be dissapointing and frustrating as an Arsenal fan to not understand why the players have failed to put in similar performances and results at Highbury and away at lesser grounds when it mattered but waited until it was a 'do or die' game to perform in Europe?
Arsenal have been pretty impressive in the premeirship, so it's certainly not down to their ability. If it was United in a similar situation, I would certainly question my team's bottle in Europe.

Which league has;
A) Actually famous players? Outside of Scotland? :D
B) Had more European champions?
C) Is actually worth watching AT ALL?
D) Been called the greatest/one of in the world
E) In Championship Manager, why do players want to leave Celtic and Rangers fo 'bigger clubs' and yet not for Liverpool, Arsenal and Man U?

Did you not read my last post? No-one CARES about the "nearly men". It counts for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Failing in the QF is no better than failing in the first round.

Excuse me, but I think you'll find all the hype is from the media, not the fans. It's nice to have set a(nother) new record, but we're only a third of the way through the season and only one point clear. Any Arsenal fan who thinks we've won the league needs to slap themselves around the face a few times and remember last season.
Getting back to the CL win - results like 5-1 in Milan is the sort of result that Arsenal SHOULD have been getting regularly for the last few years. Everyone - including ManYoo fans, if they are truly honest - knows that Arsenal are certainly *capable* of that. The mystery is why they haven't acheived it.
Now I personally don't believe that we have suddenly, miraculously, 'clicked' in Europe and are going to march on to win it. It's a good result, but we have to produce those results consistently. We still have a game to win to be sure of going through. But NO-ONE will convince me that it was purely a fluke, lucky result. We played well (though not our best), and it was very well deserved.

And we all know the reason why United have only done so-well is because people's expectations are too high; like the idiots of today who believe England are a team capable of beating the likes of France and Spain, next summer, to life the European Cup in Portugal!
