So if we DO ger broadband, the BB will be installed on just one of the computers and the other will not have access. SO we are going to have to get a network thing to share the broadband.
So can you answer these folling questions I have about it:
- Will the speed of the broadband be split in half if we network it?
- Will the main computer have to be switched on for the other to use it?
- Does the broadband computer have to be switched on constantly?
- Does networking take up load of space on both computers?
Any advice etc will be appreciated.

I am getting NTL which is cable broadband, and the router AOE showed me only supports ADSL.

NTL broadband works out at about £7 a month in that package doesnt it?
Currently we pay:
£15 Freeserve dialup
£20 phone calls
£10 line rental
= £45
With NTL
Line rental
Unlimited calls (local and national)
Broadband
Sky Television
= £52
