This one closes on April 1st, but it's not an April fool.

Over the coming weeks we are upgrading our search engine. It's having a triple destructurisation operation and invisible lurking terms enhancements.

The prize will go to the person who finds the MOST VALID PROBLEMS across our WHOLE PRODUCT RANGE in the SEARCH FACILITY.

If you think you should be able to search on "Horror Movies", but nothing comes up, then add it to your list.

If you think people will mis-spell gran turismo, then add that too - but test it first.

Use short lists if possible but multiple posts will count together. i.e. all your posts on this subject will add up and count towards the prize.

Closes 9 am on April 1st, 2001.

I recommend you read the details of our searching process which you can click to from a link at Site Map. Basically we use the start of a word, so a search on "thunder" will find "thunderball". If several words are combined it must find all.

Like I said you need this search engine, but you also could do with an advanced one. You could have a 'select from the list' type thing...as in. Game or Peripheral...you could be tweaking this engine for ages and still not hit home, you would be best to have a seperate advanced searche engine, build it from scratch and sort out the problems.

GB searches!

Shock, horror nothing for "Links Awakening." The best damn Gameboy game of all time. It's known only as Zelda in your charts.

"Mister Driller" shows blank not MR Driller.

"Xmen" draws a blank folks. Not Mutant Acedemy or Wars.

"Rainbow 6" draws a blank too, not Rainbow Six.

What no "Battle Tanks"? Oh it's Battle Tanx.

Another PS2 one:

"Ready to Rumble" doesn't work, but it does for the Gameboy version. It should be Ready 2 Rumble.

PS2 searches:

"TTT" returns a blank, not the expected Tekken Tag Tournament.

"X Squad" returns a blank, not XSquad"

"4 by 4" returns nothing rather than that 4X4 Evolution.

Excuse me if some of these have previously been listed:

N64 searches:

'Wrestling' only brings ECW Hardcore, the WWF games should be shown too.

"F1" Brings up F1 Pole Position, F1 Racing Championship and F1 Racing Simulation - Monaco Grand Prix, but not Formula 1 World Grand Prix.

"Mickey Mouse" returns a blank, I'd expect Mickey's Speedway USA, especially as Donald Duck works for Quack Attack.

"olympics" returns Olympic Hockey, but anyone searching that work is more likely after International Track and Field.
"revolt" returns a blank. Many will leave the - out of Re-Volt.

Same with "FZero", but that's fine if you leave a space between the F and the Z.

"Exitebike" and "Exiteabike" both return blanks. Luckily I know it's called Excitebike, hundreds won't.

"The 1st Mage" retuens a blank rather than Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage.

My policy is non-interference.

Except my antipolicy, which is for Ants.

I wouldn't dare touch a message from El Supreme Grixo!
