With the sudden explosion of stories?
It wouldn't have anything to do with the recent GAD win would it?
I mean, you had 1 or 2 a month before, and all of a sudden
"Story!"
"Short story!"

And they suck.

I think it's finished, but I don't watch that much tele. Just happened to catch more "cult" viewing than normal lately. Sometimes it's best not to watch a channel until at least 15 minutes after a bad programme has been on - like that toilet rule.

I have no idea.
I watched some rubbish about houses at auction.
"Here's somebody spending a barrowload on a crap house filled with squatters and poo! We'll come back in 3 months and see how their contracted-out builders rebuilt it for them"
It's awful.

Imagine being in a doctor's waiting room, but a waiting room in a little box in your room.
The annoying parent with screaming kids? ITV
The musty old man knocking on heaven's door? BBC2
The stern authoritarian pinch-faced spinster? BBC1
The bloke off work in his burberry cap? C4
The drooling spong? C5

I can't bring myself to turn it on.
Hence being here, in my pants, waiting for my enchiladas to cook.

Do they still show Crossroads?

I would take something from the fact that El Dorado was axed some time ago.

Christ, that's the worst thing about being a slacker.
I hate television with a passion, yet had no idea just how satanically awful it is during daytime.

It's still more entertaining than daytime tele soaps though. "Doctors" is f**king rubbish, even if James Herriot is in it!

Mind you, if Anne Rice can make a mint from churning out that stuff, no reason why nobody else can't.

I think that was a pretty cheap shot... if you wanted to say the stories sucked, well why not write them in the topics themselves?

Hell, you could even go the lengths to give constructive critism. But then you -are- training to be an English teacher so I shouldn't have expected that much. ;)
