It wouldn't have anything to do with the recent GAD win would it?
I mean, you had 1 or 2 a month before, and all of a sudden
"Story!"
"Short story!"

And they suck.

Boring story - I work full time but I'm also taking a degree course in the evening. I didn't sign on with this name originally but soon after joining I ended up doing an all nighter working on an Oracle project. In the wee hours of the morning I took a break and browsed the forum with the thought in mind of 'Gods I need some sleep but ain't gonna get any before I go to work'. So I changed my name and it stuck.

No point changing it back again. I've done 3.5 years and still have another couple to go. Infact I should be at the uni now working on Opnet but I'm skiving.

So - if you are still awake - your curiousity has been sated.

I love writing nonsense stories, stuff like kung fu koalas and making a frankenstein girlfriend or something, and I'm not intending to stop either. :P

But yeah, it's pretty over-powering in here at the moment. The sense of humour is dying down a bit...

I know, shame on them, so every so often I have a dig at them for taking away the story forum. It may not have been used often but it was rarely used for spam, just stories, so you knew what you were going to get when you went into it. I had to scroll halfway down the opening page today before I found a subject that wasn't related to a story.

They got rid of the story forum, even though it was OKish. I still reckon they should rename the "general chat" forum to "window lickers and spasmos anononymous".

Someone won a GAD for a story? It may be cynical but could well explain why this damn forum has gone downhill of late. Mayhap it is time to fetch the story forum back until the influx of stories and poems dies down.

6 lines long, but, it hits you right where you need it.

A sotry of death, despair, love (For his pajammies), and tiredness

In my defence I'm not doing it for the GADs. I've only ever won two of them and my membership has expired so all I'd get is a free gift anyway. The reson I'm doing them is because I'm failing Higher English (A Level English in Englan) and need some practice. I saw that quite a lot of other stories were being posted here and decided I'd join in. It's good to get feedback from someone who's not a teacher because you don't get a dissapointing grade just comments.

Anyway that's why I'm doing it. Read them if you want, don't if you don't want to. Just thought I'd try and justify myself heh. Thanks.
